| Mission |
|
| The mission of Madison
Audubon Society is to educate our members and the public about the
natural world and the threats that natural systems are facing, to
engage in advocacy to preserve and protect these systems, and to
develop and maintain sanctuaries to save and restore natural habitat. |
| Advocacy |
|
| Natural systems are
facing numerous threats, most often the result of human activity.
Madison Audubon engages in advocacy to protect and preserve natural
systems. Action Alerts describe
opportunities for citizen input on proposed laws and government regulations.
Networking with other environmental
organizations amplifies our effectiveness. |
