The Madison Audubon Society is seeking original fine art and fine crafts for its 33rd annual Art Fair. This juried art fair is open to professional artists. Although a nature theme is preferred, other themes are welcome. Madison Audubon invites you to submit work for jury review.

The annual art fair is a tradition in the Madison community. The 35th annual Art Fair will be held at Warner Park Community Center on Madison's near north side. This move to Warner Park allows the fair much more room and much more parking. This link to the WPCRC includes maps on location and directions to get there.

Exhibit Space

Outdoor spaces accommodate a 10' x 10' tent. Indoor spaces may be slightly smaller than 10' x 10'. Some flexibility in setup may be necessary. Specific space requests will be considered but may not be guaranteed due to building confines and balance of art work. The move to Warner Park allows the Art Fair much more space and parking.

Silent Auction

All accepted artists are invited to support Madison Audubon Society by donating a work of art to the Art Fair Silent Auction. Work will be prominently displayed in the auction area with your name and exhibit location. If you would like to participate, we will collect your work at the Art Fair. We greatly appreciate your donations.

Rules

  1. All work must be original in concept and must have been created by the applicant. No work made with the use of kits, molds, patterns, plans, stencils, or pre-fabricated forms may be sold.
  2. Madison Audubon Society will not accept anything that exploits the natural environment or that is derived from endangered resources. Artists are required to know the source of natural materials used in their artwork and jurors have the right to reject any work they deem inappropriate.
  3. Any artist using tropical wood must verify on their application that the wood came from certified, sustainable, managed wood resources.
  4. Exhibit spaces are not transferable. Artists must be on-site to manage their displays until 4:30 pm.
  5. Each exhibitor's work will be screened during the Art Fair. If the work does not comply with the rules, or if it differs from the slides, the artist will be asked to leave with no refund of application fees.
